The Friends of Women in Finance Symposium in Greater New York (FWFS-GNY) supports the research and networking of friends of women in GNY finance academia. This special session fosters collaboration between financial academia and industry practitioners on AI-related research. We are delighted to announce that the Summer 2024 Symposium will be held on June 6, 2024, at Pace University in New York City.

We invite submissions of completed papers or long abstracts that incorporate AI/ML methods in any area of finance including corporate finance and governance, investments, financial markets and institutions, climate and sustainable finance, social and behavioral finance, and other topics. We expect to hold two formal paper presentations followed by a panel discussion and a few break-out sessions. Breakout sessions are a unique aspect of this symposium and are designed to foster extensive interaction for feedback among the session chair and presenters. The event will conclude with a networking reception. We hope all participants will benefit from the interaction and networking opportunities offered by this professional gathering.
